Our Story

LUX BOX was founded in 2016 by a mother and her two daughters with a simple belief: thoughtful gifting has the power to strengthen relationships, celebrate meaningful moments, and make people feel valued.

Raised in a very entrepreneurial family, we grew up around people who built businesses through hard work, strong relationships, and a commitment to doing things well. That mindset inspired us to build a business of our own, one centered on intention, service, creativity and an unwavering attention to detail.

What began around a plywood table in our basement in Wellesley, Massachusetts has grown into a team of twelve operating from a 7,000-square-foot studio in Portland, Maine. The scale has changed, but the care behind the work hasn't.

Today, we partner with organizations across a wide range of industries, helping them recognize employees, thank clients, celebrate milestones, and strengthen relationships through thoughtful gifting. While our business has grown, our approach remains the same. We listen carefully, pay attention to the details, and treat our clients, recipients, and team members with kindness and respect.

We genuinely love what we do. Creating meaningful gifting experiences and helping our clients make people feel appreciated is work we are proud to do every day.

Anne-Marie Blatchford

Anne-Marie Blatchford

Co-Founder

Anne-Marie grew up in Québec and later studied business at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Before founding LUX BOX with her daughters, Olivia and Chloé, she built a successful career in interior design, a background that continues to influence her work today.

Anne-Marie approaches a gift box much the way she would approach designing a room: considering balance, proportion, color, texture, and how a person experiences something from the moment they encounter it. For her, it's never just about what's inside the box, it's about how the entire experience feels.

At LUX BOX, Anne-Marie oversees the operations, systems, and financial management that help the business run smoothly and continue to grow. She enjoys solving problems, building efficient processes, and creating the structure that allows the team to do its best work.

She considers herself fortunate to build a business alongside her two daughters and remains just as excited about the work today as she was when LUX BOX began in her basement. When she's not working, you'll find her enjoying a good book, cooking family dinners or planning her next adventure.

Olivia Jette

Olivia Jette

Co-Founder

Olivia studied entrepreneurship at Babson College before spending five years at NIC+ZOE and later serving as a Category Manager at Wayfair. Those experiences sharpened her eye for product, design, and presentation, but perhaps more importantly, they taught her the value of listening carefully to clients and understanding what they truly need.

At LUX BOX, Olivia leads client relationships and design. She approaches every project by first understanding the client, the message they want to convey, and how they want the recipient to feel. Her thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and ability to translate ideas into meaningful gifting experiences have made her a trusted partner to clients across a wide range of industries.

Behind the scenes, Olivia has also played a key role in building the systems and structure that support LUX BOX's continued growth, helping the company scale while maintaining the level of service and care clients have come to expect.

Outside of work, Olivia is happiest with her husband, Ben, and their three children, Harry, Louise, and Rose, at the lake in the summer, on the slopes in the winter, and gathered around a board game or puzzle any time of year.

Chloé Hantho

Chloé Hantho

Co-Founder

Chloé graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax with a degree in entrepreneurship and joined LUX BOX immediately after graduation. Since then, she has become the creative force behind the aesthetic and recipient experience of every gift that leaves our studio.

Chloé has a natural ability to understand how a gift should feel from the moment it is received. She considers every detail, from product selection and placement to color, texture, and presentation, ensuring that each gift feels cohesive, intentional, and memorable. While most people see a collection of products, Chloé sees the complete experience.

In addition to leading design, Chloé manages some of LUX BOX's largest and most complex client programs, balancing creativity with organization and execution.

Outside of work, Chloé and her husband, Elling, stay busy with their three children, Emma, Claire, and Leo, and are excited to welcome their fourth child this October. When she finds a quiet moment, she's likely working on a puzzle, playing cards, or planning her next canoe adventure. Her longest trip to date covered 850 kilometers over 42 days.

"LUX BOX has become our go-to vendor for all our corporate gifting needs, and Chloe and her team are amazing at what they do. From ideating with our team on unique and creative gifting concepts to making sure every package arrives on the exact date we ask, LUX BOX always delivers a five-star experience. We started working with LUX BOX during the pandemic as the Forbes events team transitioned from in-person to virtual events and have continued to work with them as we move back to in-person and hybrid events. Each box they’ve produced for us truly enhances our guest experience and we look forward to continued partnership with their superstar team!" - Julieanna Gray, Forbes
