Holiday Kick-Off

It's only half way through September and we already have a December mindset. Though it may seem early, our holiday outreach and planning started a few months ago. It can be tricky to think about December on a warm summer day, but we love researching new products and upcoming trends. It's so much fun brainstorming and pouring through online catalogues and look books for winter offerings.

Prior to the season, we stock up on oodles of frosted pinecones, rosemary sprigs, faux snow, cinnamon sticks, and other finishing touches for the perfect holiday aesthetic. Our clients trust us each year to curate new themes that still give a nod to tradition. Food and beverage are the most popular requests; hot chocolate and breakfast-in-bed are always crowd favorites. And we love the opportunity to celebrate anything snow related! The après-ski theme is very "in" right now and especially popular for us Mainers.

Our weeks move very quickly this time of year. We book our repeat clients as early as they are ready, and for us the earlier the better. More time allows us to offer the moon and one less holiday gift to check off their list. When our past customers are booked, we can focus on new business and be ready for any last minute requests. Come December 15th, we can always count on a few panic calls for new orders. Thanks to our generous stock of seasonal items, we are able to help without a hitch! We've even received a call as late as December 19th and were still able to fulfill their request.
